Noel in Paris

Dec 17, 2013
It's probably clear by now that I'm a sucker for Christmas, and Paris isn't too shabby place to spend the month of December. I often just grab the camera, occasionally I also grab Denis, and dive right in. Nothing gets me more in holiday mood than seeing all the decorations or just to wander around the numerous Marché de Noël (markets) and sipping that perfect cup of mulled wine to warm up your system. Also, people are generally more joyful and in higher spirits than usually- and why wouldn't they be, after all, it is the most wonderful time of the year... The only actual downside is that the closer to the Christmas we get, the more people are out there trying desperately to find the last perfect gifts to put underneath the tree. And in this city it usually means big crowds.

But aside from that, there is a certain magic in the air...don't you think?
